Cookie Policy

Last updated: 4 September 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how this website uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, keep it secure, and remember your preferences.

The cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the site to function and stay secure, for example our hosting and security platform, and a cookie called jms_cookie_consent that remembers the choice you made on the cookie banner. It lasts 180 days. These cookies cannot be switched off, because the site cannot work without them.

Analytics cookies

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use the site, so we can improve it. This tells us things like which pages are read most and how visitors arrived, in aggregate. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we have advertising features and Google Signals switched off.

These cookies are only set after you press Accept on the cookie banner. Until then, and if you press Decline, Google Analytics is loaded in a restricted mode that stores nothing on your device and sets no cookies. This is done using Google Consent Mode.

Google is the provider. See Google’s cookie information and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Functional cookies from embedded content

Some pages embed content from other services. If you play an embedded YouTube video, Google or YouTube may set cookies on your device. We use the privacy-enhanced YouTube domain, which limits what is stored until you actually play a video, but we do not control these cookies.

Our booking link opens TidyCal in a new tab. That is a separate site with its own cookies and privacy policy.

What we do not do

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow third parties to use cookies on this site to build a profile of you or to target you with advertising elsewhere. We do not sell your data.

Managing your choice

You can accept or decline analytics cookies using the banner shown when you first visit.

You can change your mind at any time. Select Cookie settings in the footer of any page to bring the banner back and make a different choice. Declining stops any further analytics data being collected from your visit.

You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work, such as embedded videos.
